New Warriors G Livingston has toe surgery
Aug 15, 2014 - 9:28 PM Oakland, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Golden State Warriors announced Friday that guard Shaun Livingston underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on his right big toe earlier this week and is expected to be sidelined a minimum of 6-to-8 weeks.Livingston had a procedure Wednesday to clean out debris in his toe. He will be in a splint for the first three weeks of his recovery.
The 28-year-old Livingston was diagnosed with a sprained right big toe upon signing the Warriors last month and his foot was placed in a cast as part of the treatment. However, a re-evaluation of the injury last week prompted the surgery.
Livingston has averaged 7.0 points, 3.4 assists and 2.7 rebounds in 466 career games with eight teams.
