Hawks re-sign Mack
Aug 22, 2014 - 8:34 PM Atlanta, GA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Atlanta Hawks re-signed guard Shelvin Mack on Friday.Mack made 11 starts in 73 games for the Hawks last season, averaging 7.5 points and 3.7 assists per game.
"Shelvin has proven himself to be an excellent fit for our program," said Hawks president of basketball operations/general manager Danny Ferry. "On the court, he plays well within our system and possesses a toughness and level of unselfishness that we truly value."
A key contributor on two National Runner-up teams at Butler prior to getting drafted 34th overall in 2011 by Washington, Mack has put up 5.5 points in 168 career games with the Wizards, 76ers and Hawks.
