Lakers sign 2nd-round pick Clarkson
Aug 26, 2014 - 3:26 AM El Segundo, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Los Angeles Lakers have signed second-round draft pick Jordan Clarkson.The Lakers acquired the rights to Clarkson from Washington on draft night. He was selected with the 46th overall pick in June.
Clarkson spent one season at Missouri after playing his first two collegiate years at Tulsa. He was a second-team All-SEC selection last season after averaging 17.5 points and 3.4 assists for Missouri.
The 6-foot-5 guard averaged team bests of 15.8 points and 5.0 rebounds during the Lakers' Summer League in Las Vegas.
