Celtics ink Evan Turner
Sep 29, 2014 - 5:47 PM Boston, MA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Boston Celtics signed forward Evan Turner on Monday.Turner averaged 13.9 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 81 combined games with Philadelphia and Indiana last season.
The No. 2 pick by the 76ers in the 2010 draft, Turner has averaged 11.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 306 career games.
The Celtics also signed guards Tim Frazier and Rodney McGruder and forward Christian Watford and waived guard John Lucas III and forward Malcolm Thomas.
