Pistons exercise contract options on Drummond, Caldwell-Pope
Oct 24, 2014 - 7:55 PM Auburn Hills, MI (SportsNetwork.com) - The Detroit Pistons announced Friday the exercising of team options for the contracts of center Andre Drummond and guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.Detroit selected Drummond with the ninth overall pick in the 2012 draft. He has averaged 11.1 points, 10.8 rebounds and 1.6 blocks over 141 games in his first two NBA seasons.
Caldwell-Pope, taken eighth overall in 2013, finished his rookie season by posting 5.9 points and 2.0 rebounds over 80 appearances.
