Cousins, Williams are NBA Players of the Week
Nov 25, 2014 - 12:15 AM New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins and Toronto Raptors guard Lou Williams were named NBA Players of the Week on Monday.Cousins earned the Western Conference award after averaging 25.7 points, 16.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.7 blocks while leading the Kings to a 2-1 record last week. He had 31 points and 18 rebounds in a 113-101 win over Minnesota on Saturday.
Williams averaged 23.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists in three wins for the Eastern Conference-leading Raptors. He scored a career-high 36 points in a 110-93 win over Cleveland on Saturday.
