Cavaliers G Snow has successful knee surgery
Oct 3, 2007 - 12:28 AM CLEVELAND (Ticker) -- Cleveland Cavaliers guard Eric Snow had successful surgery on his left knee and will miss four to six weeks, the team announced on Tuesday.The procedure was performed at the Cleveland Clinic by Cavaliers team physician Dr. Richard Parker and repaired Snow's torn medial meniscus.
Snow, who injured the knee while working out last week, had a limited role with the Eastern Conference champion Cavaliers last season. He averaged 4.6 points and 4.0 assists in 82 games.
A 12-year veteran, the 34-year-old Snow has averaged 7.0 points and 5.1 assists in his career with three different teams.
He was one of the premier defenders in the NBA for many years, playing in the NBA Finals with the Seattle SuperSonics in 1996 and the Philadelphia 76ers in 2001.
