LeBron skips shootaround to rest ankle
May 12, 2015 - 3:46 PM Cleveland, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James did not participate in Tuesday's shootaround prior to Game 5 of the Eastern Conference semifinals to rest an ailing left ankle.James played through the injury in Game 4 on Sunday and sank the game-winning shot at the buzzer to give the Cavaliers an 86-84 victory over the Chicago Bulls to even the best-of-seven series at two games apiece.
"It feels better, but it's been worse," said James on Tuesday morning. "I'll be ready to go tonight."
James is averaging 26.5 points, 10.1 rebounds and 7.8 assists in eight games this postseason.
