Hawks' Carroll questionable for Game 2
May 21, 2015 - 6:07 PM Atlanta, GA (SportsNetwork.com) - Atlanta Hawks forward DeMarre Carroll is listed as questionable after suffering a left knee sprain during the fourth quarter of Wednesday's 97-89 loss to Cleveland in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals.X-rays taken Thursday were negative, but an MRI exam revealed the sprain.
Carroll was driving to the basket when his left leg buckled awkwardly as he planted to jump. He remained on the floor for several minutes under the basket and did not put any weight on his left leg as he was helped off the court and back to the locker room.
The 28-year-old Missouri product was averaging 16.2 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 13 games this postseason.
