Nuggets G Carter fractures bone in right hand

Oct 7, 2007 - 12:29 AM DENVER (Ticker) -- Denver Nuggets guard Anthony Carter fractured the third metacarpal bone on his right hand during practice Saturday morning.

No timeline has been set for his return.

A little-used player, the 6-2 Carter has averaged 4.7 points and 3.7 assists in parts of eight seasons with four teams. He averaged 3.0 points, 5.5 assists and 1.5 rebounds in two contests with the Nuggets last campaign.
