Pistons G Hamilton leaves game with ankle sprain
Oct 15, 2007 - 1:14 AM AUBURN HILLS Michigan (Ticker) -- Detroit Pistons guard Richard Hamilton left Sunday's preseason game against the Denver Nuggets with a sprained left ankle.The injury occurred with 6:37 left in the third quarter of Detroit's 109-106 victory.
Hamilton is considered day-day, and it is not known whether he will play in the Pistons' next preseason game - again against Denver - at home on Wednesday.
Hamilton, who is entering his ninth year in the league, averaged 19.8 points and 3.8 assists per game last season.
