Report: Hornets PG Paul to play vs. Pacers

Nov 21, 2007 - 6:59 PM NEW ORLEANS (Ticker) -- New Orleans Hornets point guard Chris Paul will start Wednesday against the Indiana Pacers, according to a report on the New Orleans Times-Picayune's web site.

Paul had missed the last two games with a sprained right ankle. The 22-year-old is averaging a team-leading 19.5 points and a league-best 10.8 assists in 10 games this season.

The Times-Picayune also reported that Hornets center Tyson Chandler still is nursing his injured right knee and is not expected to play against the Pacers.

The Hornets' leading rebounder, Chandler suffered a hyperextended right knee in Monday's 95-88 loss to the Orlando Magic. The 7-1 Chandler is averaging 10.8 points and 11.3 rebounds this season.

The newspaper reported that Chandler will be replaced in the starting lineup by Hilton Armstrong, according to Hornets coach Byron Scott.
