Portland F Aldridge out again
Dec 17, 2007 - 11:04 PM PORTLAND, Oregon (Ticker) -- Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge will miss a fifth straight game with plantar fasciitis, according to a report Monday on the Oregonian's web site.Portland's leading rebounder, Aldridge reportedly will miss Monday's contest against the New Orleans Hornets.
However, Aldridge's absence has not hurt the Blazers, who are riding a seven-game winning streak - their longest since December 2002.
The 6-11, 240-pound Aldridge is averaging 18.7 points - tied with Brandon Roy for the team lead - and 7.7 rebounds in 20 games this season.
