Pistons G Stuckey cleared to return
Dec 20, 2007 - 5:05 PM AUBURN HILLS, Michigan (Ticker) -- Detroit Pistons rookie guard Rodney Stuckey, who underwent hand surgery in October, has received medical clearance to return to the court, the team announced Thursday.Selected 15th overall out of Eastern Washington, Stuckey broke his hand in Detroit's final exhibition game. He averaged 12.1 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.1 assists prior to getting hurt.
The 6-5 Stuckey was expected to back up veteran point guard Chauncey Billups.
