Allen, Davis expected to play Friday
Jan 10, 2008 - 8:01 PM BOSTON (Ticker) -- Boston Celtics guard Ray Allen returned to practice Thursday and is expected to play Friday against the New Jersey Nets.Allen missed Wednesday's 95-83 loss to the Charlotte Bobcats. It was just the Celtics' fourth setback in 33 games.
The 32-year-old is averaging 18.0 points this season, a major reason why the Celtics own the league's best record.
Reserve center Glen Davis also missed the game with a right knee injury but the rookie also should be available for Friday's trip to East Rutherford.
