Cavs C Ilgauskas to miss a week
Mar 2, 2008 - 9:01 PM CLEVELAND (Ticker) -- Cleveland Cavaliers center Zydrunas Ilgauskas is expected to miss a week with a back injury, the team announced Sunday.The 7-3 Ilgauskas was diagnosed Saturday with a strained back. He missed Sunday's 95-86 victory over the Chicago Bulls.
Ilgauskas is averaging 13.5 points and 9.6 rebounds this season for the defending Eastern Conference champion Cavaliers (34-26). Cleveland has won five of its last seven games despite being without shooting guard Daniel Gibson (ankle) and swingman Sasha Pavlovic (foot).
