Pistons' Wallace sits out vs. Knicks

Mar 8, 2008 - 1:12 AM NEW YORK (Ticker) -- Detroit Pistons forward Rasheed Wallace did not dress for Friday's game against the New York Knicks due to a sprained left ankle.

Wallace suffered the injury in Wednesday's loss to the Boston Celtics and missed Friday morning's shootaround, according to the Detroit Free Press.

Theo Ratliff, who signed with the Pistons on Tuesday, started at center against the Knicks on Friday - his first game with his new team - and Antonio McDyess moved to forward.

New York also is without its starting power forward, Zach Randolph, who missed his fourth straight game with a sore right foot. David Lee started in his place.
