Magic C Howard leaves with injured leg

Mar 13, 2008 - 2:00 AM ORLANDO, Florida (Ticker) -- Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard left Wednesday's 110-88 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers with an injured right leg and is listed as day-to-day.

The injury, which was described as a bruised right quadriceps, occurred with 6:37 left in the fourth quarter when the All-Star fell to the floor after a collision. Howard, 22, limped off the floor and back to the Magic's locker room.

The 6-11, 265-pounder collected 22 points and 13 rebounds before departing for his 11th straight double-double and league-leading 57th of the season.
