Magic F Turkoglu has sprained wrist

Mar 26, 2008 - 6:07 PM ORLANDO, Florida (Ticker) -- Orlando Magic forward Hedo Turkoglu has a sprained right wrist and is listed as day-to-day, the Orlando Sentinel reported Wednesday.

Turkoglu suffered the injury during a fall in the first quarter of Tuesday's 107-97 loss to the San Antonio Spurs and did not return. But an MRI on Wednesday revealed no broken bones or torn tendons, according to the report.

Orlando guard Jameer Nelson also is listed as day-to-day after getting hit in the jaw by teammate Dwight Howard in the first period of Tuesday's contest.

The Magic (46-27), who already have clinched a postseason berth, are off until Friday, when they play at Milwaukee.

Turkoglu is Orlando's second-leading scorer behind Howard, averaging 19.6 points. Nelson is the team's fourth-leading scorer at 10.9 points per outing.
