Williams to play for Hawks

May 4, 2008 - 4:16 PM BOSTON (Ticker) -- Forward Marvin Williams will be in the lineup Sunday when the Atlanta Hawks face the Boston Celtics in Game Seven of their Eastern Conference first-round series.

Williams sprained his left knee with nine minutes remaining in the fourth quarter of Friday's 103-100 Game Six win over the Celtics.

He went through a 30-minute workout during the Hawks' walkthrough Saturday but did not put much weight on the knee, which was heavily taped.

The No. 2 overall pick out of North Carolina in 2005, Williams averaged a career-high 14.8 points per game this season.

In the series against the Celtics, he is averaging 12.2 points - fourth-best on the team. Williams scored 18 points in Game Six before suffering the injury.
