Cavs' Wallace, Varejao questionable

May 12, 2008 - 1:54 AM CLEVELAND (Ticker) -- The injury status of Cleveland Cavaliers forwards Ben Wallace and Anderson Varejao is uncertain entering Game Four of their Eastern Conference semifinals series on Monday.

Wallace, who left Game Two after a dizzy spell, has been battling a viral inner-ear infection and allergies.

However, after running with teammate Damon Jones prior to Saturday's Game Three, he was able to play in the contest - a 108-84 victory for the Cavaliers. A four-time Defensive Player of the Year, Wallace collected nine points and nine rebounds.

Wallace is listed as day-to-day.

Varejao, who suffered a right knee contusion in the first half Saturday, is listed as questionable. But according to the team, he will be re-evaluated after Monday morning's shootaround.

Both players are integral defenders and rebounders for the Cavaliers, who trail the Celtics, 2-1, in the best-of-seven matchup.
