Cavaliers G Gibson leaves game
May 15, 2008 - 2:20 AM BOSTON (Ticker) -- Cleveland Cavaliers guard Daniel Gibson left Wednesday's playoff game with the Boston Celtics early in the fourth quarter with a right shoulder contusion after colliding with teammate Anderson Varejao.He is doubtful to return to the pivotal Game Five of the Eastern Conference semifinals series, which is tied, 2-2.
Gibson, who scored just two points on 1-of-4 shooting prior to his departure, was scrapping for a loose-ball rebound underneath the Cavaliers' basket when he slammed into Varejao.
He immediately grabbed his shoulder and went directly to the locker room.
