Jazz G Korver to have foot surgery
Jun 4, 2008 - 6:34 PM SALT LAKE CITY (Ticker) -- Utah Jazz shooting guard Kyle Korver will undergo surgery Wednesday to remove a bone spur from his left foot.The operation will be performed in New York by Dr. Jonathan Deland. The Jazz will provide a timeline for Korver's recovery following the procedure.
Acquired from the Philadelphia 76ers on December 29, Korver played in 50 games for the Jazz, all as a reserve. He averaged 9.8 points and 2.0 rebounds in 21.5 minutes.
Korver also saw action in all 12 of Utah's playoff games, contributing 7.8 points and 2.2 rebounds per contest. The Jazz lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in six games in the Western Conference semifinals.
