Wizards F Blatche arrested
Jun 5, 2008 - 5:28 PM LAWRENCEVILLE, Virginia (Ticker) -- Washington Wizards forward Andray Blatche has been arrested on charges of reckless driving and driving with a suspended license.Blatche, 21, was pulled over Wednesday morning on Interstate 85 in southern Virginia after being clocked driving 86 miles per hour in a 70-mph zone, according to Brunswick County police.
After posting a $2,500 bond and appearing before a magistrate, Blatche was released.
It was not the first run-in with the law for Blatche, who also was arrested last August on a sexual solicitation charge.
Shortly after that arrest, the Wizards signed Blatche to a five-year contract worth approximately $15 million.

A Syracuse, New York native, Blatche was a second-round draft selection of the Wizards in 2005.
