SALT LAKE CITY (Ticker) -- Utah Jazz forward Matt Harpring underwent successful surgery Thursday to remove two bone spurs from his right ankle, the team announced on Friday.
Harpring, 32, who averaged 8.2 points and 3.2 rebounds in 76 regular season games for Utah in 2007-08, also averaged 6.6 points and 2.8 rebounds in 12 playoff games for the Jazz.
In his 10th NBA season, Harpring has a career scoring average of 12.2 points along with 5.4 rebounds while playing with the Orlando Magic, Cleveland Cavaliers, Philadelphia 76ers and Jazz.
