Jazz owner Miller hospitalized
Jun 16, 2008 - 8:08 PM SALT LAKE CITY (Ticker) -- Utah Jazz owner Larry Miller has been hospitalized for complications related to diabetes, the team announced Monday.In a one-paragraph release, the Jazz said that according to his doctors and family, the 64-year-old Miller "is doing well and is expected to make a full recovery."
The team did not say when Miller, who has owned the Jazz for 23 years, would be released from the hospital.
The family declined to release when Miller was hospitalized, though it was believed to be last week.
Miller bought the Jazz outright during the 1986-87 NBA season.
