Jazz exercise option on F Millsap
Jun 28, 2008 - 11:26 PM SALT LAKE CITY (Ticker) -- The Utah Jazz exercised its option on forward Paul Millsap and tendered a qualifying offer to guard C.J. Miles on Saturday.A 2006 second-round pick, the 23-year-old Millsap averaged 8.1 points and 5.6 rebounds in 82 games off the bench last season.
Millsap was a key reserve and helped the Jazz earn home-court advantage in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. Utah was eliminated from the Western Conference finals in six games by the Los Angeles Lakers.
Miles, 21, averaged 5.0 points and 1.3 rebounds in 60 games.
