Pistons sign G Bynum
Jul 30, 2008 - 4:46 PM DETROIT (Ticker) -- The Detroit Pistons signed free agent guard Will Bynum on Wednesday.Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Bynum averaged 10.6 points and 3.0 assists per game last season for Maccabi Tel Aviv of the Israeli League.
The Chicago native played in 15 games with the Golden State Warriors during the 2005-06 season, averaging 3.6 points and 1.3 assists per game. He was also the National Basketball Development League Rookie of the Year after leading the league in scoring at 24.0 points per game with the Roanoke Dazzle during that season.
