LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- The Los Angeles Clippers signed free agent forward Brian Skinner on Thursday.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The 6-9 veteran, who was originally a first-round draft pick - 22nd overall - by the Clippers in 1998, rejoins the team after spending last season with the Phoenix Suns. He averaged 3.3 points and 3.6 rebounds in 66 games.
"Brian Skinner is a veteran NBA player who will give us both size and depth in the middle," Los Angeles Vice President of Basketball Operations Elgin Baylor said. "We are familiar with Brian, and know that he will be a good fit in his return to the Clippers."
During his 10-year career, Skinner has averaged 4.9 points and 4.9 rebounds with eight different teams.
