AUBURN HILLS, Michigan (Ticker) -- The Detroit Pistons made a pair of procedural moves Tuesday, exercising their one-year options on the contracts of guards Rodney Stuckey and Arron Afflalo.

Both rookies last season, Stuckey and Afflalo are under contract with the Pistons through the 2009-10 campaign.

The 15th overall selection in the 2007 draft, Stuckey will make just over $1.8 million in 2009-10. The 6-5 Seattle native appeared in 57 games last season, averaging 7.6 points and 2.8 assists.

Stuckey, 22, was a key bench contributor in Detroit's Eastern Conference Finals series with the Boston Celtics. He appeared in all six games vs. the reigning champion Celtics, averaging 9.8 points.

Afflalo, the 27th overall pick last year, averaged 3.7 points in 75 games last season. The 6-5 Los Angeles native will make $1.09 million in the option year of his contract.

"We are pleased to have both Rodney Stuckey and Arron Afflalo signed through the 2009-10 season," Pistons president of basketball operations Joe Dumars said. "Both players will continue to grow and mature within our system, and we look forward to the contributions they will bring this season and beyond."
