BRISTOL, Connecticut (Ticker) -- The San Antonio Spurs on Friday have re-signed guard Michael Finley, according to a report by ESPN.
Citing sources in NBA front offices, ESPN is reporting the deal has been submitted for league approval.
Finley, 35, made the decision to stay with the Spurs after spurning offers from the world champion Boston Celtics, New Orleans Hornets and Cleveland Cavaliers.
The veteran swingman was part of San Antonio's championship team in 2007. He averaged 10.1 points and 3.1 rebounds in 27 minutes per game in 2008, his 13th NBA season.
