Cavaliers sign C Wright
Sep 5, 2008 - 7:28 PM CLEVELAND (Ticker) -- The Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday signed veteran center Lorenzen Wright.Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Wright, 32, played sparingly in 13 games with the Atlanta Hawks and five with the Sacramento Kings last season.
The 6-11, 255-pounder, drafted by the Los Angeles Clippers with the seventh overall pick in the 1996 draft, has averaged 8.1 points and 6.5 rebounds over 761 career games.
The 12-year veteran also has appeared in 15 postseason games, averaging 7.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists.
