Spurs sign G Salim Stoudamire
Sep 24, 2008 - 4:32 PM SAN ANTONIO (Ticker) -- The San Antonio Spurs added backcourt depth Wednesday, signing guard Salim Stoudamire.Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Stoudamire, who spent the first three years of his career with the Atlanta Hawks, averaged 5.7 points over 35 games last season. He is averaging 8.0 points and 1.0 assists over his career.
The Spurs also signed rookie guard George Hill, the 26th overall pick in this year's draft.
According to the rookie pay scale, Hill will make $838,500 over his first season and $901,400 over his second with a club option for his third year.
An IUPUI standout, Hill led the Summit League with 21.5 points per game last season.
