Jazz F Boozer sits with sore hamstring
Oct 8, 2008 - 1:18 AM ANAHEIM, California (Ticker) -- Soreness in the left hamstring will keep Utah Jazz power forward Carlos Boozer out of Tuesday night's preseason opener against the Los Angeles Lakers. The All-Star said the injury was not serious. However, it is the same hamstring Boozer tore three years ago, limiting him to 33 games in the 2005-06 season.
"Just a little sore," Boozer told the Deseret News. "So, I'd rather be safe than sorry."
Reserve Paul Millsap was expected to replace Boozer in the lineup.
