ATLANTA (Ticker) -- Atlanta Hawks forward Marvin Williams left Monday's game against the Charlotte Bobcats with a thumb injury.

Williams sprained his left thumb in the second quarter. He played nearly 14 minutes in the first half and scored four points.

Williams did not come back out of the locker room for the start of the second half and is not expected to return.
