Jazz G Williams returns vs. Sixers

Nov 12, 2008 - 12:29 AM PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) - Utah Jazz guard Deron Williams returned to the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Williams sprained his left ankle in a preseason game on October 18 and missed Utah's first six games of the season. He was expected to miss at least two more weeks with the injury but was in the starting lineup against Philadelphia.

The Jazz won their first five games of the season before a 107-99 loss at New York on Sunday. They committed a season-high 22 turnovers that led to 30 points for the Knicks in the defeat.

Tuesday's game also marks the return of Kyle Korver to Philadelphia. Korver will be playing in Philadelphia as a visitor for the first time in his career. He spent his first four-plus seasons with the Sixers before being traded to the Jazz last December.
