Jazz G Williams, C Okur likely to miss game Monday

Nov 17, 2008 - 9:26 PM SALT LAKE CITY (Ticker) -- The Utah Jazz likely will be without guard Deron Williams and center Mehmet Okur in Monday night's game against the Phoenix Suns.

Williams has been nagged by a sprained left ankle, an injury that has sidelined the star point guard for eight of Utah's 10 games this season.

Okur has missed the last four contests to tend to his ailing father in Turkey. The Jazz officially have listed both Williams and Okur as doubtful for Monday's contest.

Utah also announced that forward Andrei Kirilenko, who has missed the last two contest with a sprained right finger, will be a game-time decision.

One of the top young guards in the NBA, the 24-year-old Williams sprained his ankle in the preseason and missed Utah's first six regular-season games.

The 6-3 Williams returned to the lineup for two games last week but was noticeably hampered by the injury and was forced to miss Utah's losses at Charlotte and Cleveland on Friday and Saturday.

The Jazz, who have lost their last three games, also said that forward Matt Harpring will be a game-time decision. Harpring has appeared in just two games this season due to an ankle injury.
