Magic G Nelson out 7-10 days

Nov 25, 2008 - 7:57 PM ORLANDO, Florida (Ticker) -- Orlando Magic point guard Jameer Nelson will miss up to 10 days after an MRI exam on Tuesday revealed a strained right hip flexor, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

Nelson was injured during Monday's 108-101 victory against the Milwaukee Bucks. The injury was first believed to be a strained groin.

Nelson is averaging 14.4 points and 5.1 assists in 14 games this season.

Anthony Johnson likely will replace Nelson in the lineup.

Orlando also is without shooting guard Keith Bogans, who will be up to six weeks because of a fractured thumb.
