Cavaliers still without Gibson, Ilgauskas

Dec 17, 2008 - 9:07 PM MINNEAPOLIS (Ticker) -- The Cleveland Cavaliers once again will be without guard Daniel Gibson and center Zydrunas Ilgauskas for Wednesday's game at Minnesota.

Gibson, who is averaging 9.4 points in 21 games this season, will miss his fourth straight contest after spraining his right big toe in Cleveland's 114-94 win over Toronto on December 9 and is expected to miss another week.

Ilgauskas, contributing 14.8 points and 7.6 rebounds per outing, will sit out his third straight contest with a sprained left ankle.

He has been sidelined since playing 23 minutes in Cleveland's 101-93 victory at Philadelphia on December 17.

However, Ilgauskas has resumed his shooting work and hopes to play Friday against Denver.

Without the two players, Cleveland had its 11-game winning streak snapped with a 97-92 loss in Atlanta on Tuesday.
