Rockets F Artest out 7-10 more days
Jan 13, 2009 - 8:51 PM HOUSTON (Ticker) -- Houston Rockets forward Ron Artest will be out another seven to 10 days with a sprained ankle, the Houston Chronicle reported Tuesday.Artest, who has missed four of the last five games, will be reevaluated after that time.
Artest suffered the injury on November 16. An MRI conducted Sunday revealed a bone bruise, but no stress fracture.
Artest, who was acquired from Sacramento in the offseason, is averaging 16.0 points and 5.4 rebounds in 22 games with the Rockets this season.
The nine-year veteran has joined injured Rockets teammate Tracy McGrady on the bench. McGrady is out two more weeks due to a sore left knee.
