HOUSTON (Ticker) -- After testing his left ankle in the pregame shootaround, Houston Rockets swingman Tracy McGrady decided not to play in Saturday's game against the Golden State Warriors.

The Houston Chronicle reported that McGrady hit the court briefly during the shootaround, decided he could not go and is considered "a game-time decision" for Tuesday's game against the Chicago Bulls.

McGrady sprained his ankle in practice Friday, but it is not considered to be a long-term problem.

Still, it is another unfortunate setback for the Rockets (28-19), who have played just 23 games with Yao Ming, Ron Artest and McGrady in the lineup this season. All three recently had returned from various injuries.

"We are getting a little bit used to it," Yao told the Chronicle. "We've had (24) games with no me or no Ron or no Tracy. We have to look at the positive."

McGrady is averaging 15.8 points, 5.0 assists and 4.5 rebounds in 31 games.
