Bucks C Bogut to miss at least two months
Feb 4, 2009 - 7:48 PM MILWAUKEE (Ticker) -- Milwaukee Bucks center Andrew Bogut will be sidelined a minimum of eight weeks with an incomplete stress fracture in his lower back, the team announced Wednesday.Bogut underwent a series of tests and evaluations earlier this week that revealed the injury. He will continue to rehabilitate the injury through strengthening exercises and rest, and will be re-evaluated in eight weeks.
The 7-footer already has missed 13 games this season due to back troubles.
The No. 1 overall draft pick in 2005, Bogut has averaged 11.7 points and a team-leading 10.2 rebounds in 36 games this season.
Milwaukee (24-28) already is without leading scorer Michael Redd, who will miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury.
