Cavaliers G Pavlovic out 4-6 weeks
Feb 9, 2009 - 8:31 PM CLEVELAND (Ticker) -- The Cleveland Cavaliers will be without guard Sasha Pavlovic for four to six weeks due to a high ankle sprain, the team announced Monday.Pavlovic suffered the injury during the first quarter of Sunday's 101-91 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, and an MRI exam taken Monday morning confirmed the injury.
The Cavaliers already are thin at guard as Delonte West is out with a broken wrist. In Pavlovic's absence, Wally Szczerbiak is expected to move into the starting lineup.
The 6-7 Pavlovic is averaging 4.9 points.
