Grizzlies F Gay out vs. Hornets

Feb 10, 2009 - 5:30 AM MEMPHIS, Tennessee (Ticker) -- Memphis Grizzlies small forward Rudy Gay was inactive for Monday's game against the New Orleans Hornets.

Gay, who missed his second straight game with a strained hip flexor, is averaging 18.8 points and 5.7 rebounds this season.

The injury may force the 22-year-old Gay to skip the Slam Dunk Contest during this weekend's All-Star festivities.
