Rockets clear F Cook, G Lowry for game vs. Mavericks
Feb 21, 2009 - 12:33 AM HOUSTON (Ticker) -- Houston Rockets forward Brian Cook and guard Kyle Lowry were cleared to play in Friday's game against the Dallas Mavericks.The pair were sent to the Rockets in a three-team trade that sent point guard Rafer Alston to the Orlando Magic.
A first-round pick in 2006, Lowry averaged 7.6 points in 49 games for the Memphis Grizzlies, while the little-used Cook averaged just 3.0 points in 21 games.
