Parker, Howard named Players of the Week
Mar 30, 2009 - 6:32 PM NEW YORK (Ticker) - Orlando Magic forward Dwight Howard and San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker were the NBA Players of the Week on Monday.Howard won the Eastern Conference honor, averaging 23.7 points, 14.3 rebounds and 3.3 blocks as the Magic went 3-0 and clinched its second straight Southeast Division title.
Sparked by Parker, who averaged 27.5 points and 8.5 assists, the Spurs won three of their four games last week.
