Dayton to host 1st, 2nd-round NCAA games in 2013
Sep 21, 2009 - 9:35 PM DAYTON, Ohio(AP) -- The University of Dayton Arena will host first- and second-round games of the 2013 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament as well as the opening-round game of the 2011, 2012 and 2013 tournaments.The NCAA on Monday notified the arena and the University of Dayton, which will serve as tournament host.
Four first-round games and two second-round games will be played, with the winners moving on to regional games. The 2013 Final Four will be held in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
Dayton has hosted opening-round games since they began in 2001 and will again host the game in March.
