Michigan State's Raymar Morgan plays in opener
Nov 14, 2009 - 12:37 AM EAST LANSING, Mich.(AP) -- Raymar Morgan made an unexpected appearance for No. 2 Michigan State against Florida Gulf Coast.Morgan played Friday night with a brace around his left ankle that was sprained two weeks ago. He was expected to miss the season opener.
The senior forward did not play in two exhibition games because of the injury.
Chris Allen and Delvon Roe also returned for the Spartans after missing their preseason game against Grand Valley State. Allen has a groin strain and Roe a concussion.
