Utah Valley rallies past North Dakota State 80-72
Nov 14, 2009 - 5:18 AM OREM, Utah(AP) -- Hot-shooting Utah Valley rallied in the second half behind four double-figure scorers to beat North Dakota State 80-72 in a season opener Friday night.The Wolverines sank 27 of 54 shots for 50 percent.
They were led by reserve Jordan Swarbrick's 20 points and nine rebounds. Justin Baker contributed 19 points on 9-of-14 shooting, Aaron England 11 and Eric Dearden 10 for the Wolverines, who trailed 35-32 at halftime.
North Dakota State guard Josh Vaughan took game scoring honors with 27 points, hitting 11 of 20 shots. Forward Michael Tveidt added 19.
