IUPUI beats Georgia State 67-56 in OT
Nov 22, 2009 - 8:46 PM DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.(AP) -- Alex Young scored 22 points and John Ashworth added 14 as IUPUI defeated Georgia State 67-56 in overtime on Sunday.Young had a three-point play in the opening minute of overtime in the Glenn Wilkes Classic, while Ashworth hit a 3-pointer and made all four of his free throws during the extra period for the Jaguars (4-1).
The Jaguars outscored the Panthers 17-6 in the extra frame.
IUPUI won despite an off game from Robert Glenn, who averaged more than 21 points in IUPUI's first four games this season.
He ran into foul trouble in the second half and finished with 12 points. Glenn also had a key blocked shot during overtime and punctuated the victory with a dunk in the final minute.
Joe Dukes scored 14 points to lead Georgia State (2-3), while Ousman Krubally had 11 points and 13 rebounds.
